DIY Fruit Juice Recipe – Benefits of drinking cactus juice

Have you heard about the benefits of drinking cactus juice ? or how many pieces of cactus to produce 1 cup of juice ?

There are many type of the cactus plants in the market, but most probably cactus plants are displaying in the garden landscaping accessories shop or depot as a decoration plants. You will not thinking making cactus fruit juice for drinking.

A type of edible cactus is called prickly pear (Opuntia), mainly comes from Mexico.

Ingredient of cactus juice:

  • Cactus stem 100 gm
  • Pineapple 100 gm
  • fructose (up to taste)

Method :

  • Peels the cactus and pineapple.
  • Rinse all the ingredients.
  • Put cactus, pineapples into the blender.
  • Put in some ice cubes.
  • Put in 150 ml drinking water.
  • Blends until all materials mix up.

  • Decreases the cholesterol.
  • Good for weight loss.

Today Fruit Juice

Ingredient :

  • 2 Kiwi
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 tea spoon sesame

  • Rinse all the ingredients peels the fruit.
  • Put all ingredients into the juicer or blender.
  • Add in some ice cube to make it cooler
  • Add in 150 ml water.

Good

Rich of vitamin C, vitamin E and a small percentage of vitamin A

Bad

Raw kiwifruit is not suitable to use in deserts containing milk or any other dairy products which are not going to be served within hours.

Banana

Good

Good source of Dietary Fiber, vitamin C , Potassium and Manganese. It is also rich of vitamin B6.

Bad

Not recommend to take too much in your daily meal because of the yellow banana containing of higher sugar concentration. This is the reason why yellow banana taste sweeter.

 

Orange

Good

Good source of  vitamin C and Calcium.

Bad

Orange is acidic. pH levels is within the range from as low as 2.9 to as high as 4.0.
It is not recommend to take too much especially for people who had gastric.

 

Sesame

Good

Rich of iron, manganese, magnesium, copper and calcium.It is also contain of vitamin B1 and vitamin E.
